QUALIFICATIONS: Education:?Bachelor?s and Master?s Degree from an accredited college or university. ????????????????? Advanced?degree/diploma/certificate?in?school administration/supervision? or ?????? ?????????? curriculum from an accredited ?college or university. ? Certification:????Possess or eligible to receive the Connecticut Administrative?????? ???????????????????????? Certificate Endorsement 092. ? Experience:?????Five (5) years or more of teaching experience at the elementary level.???? ??????????????????????? Administrative/supervisory experience at elementary level preferred.?? ????????????????????????Involvement with multi-cultural student and community populations. ? Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Leadership: Ability to articulate and gather support for a strong vision for elementary education. Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instruction and assessment. Proven skills in personnel supervision including evaluation of teaching and learning and?support for professional development of all staff. Proven success in establishing a learning atmosphere characterized by high academic performance, monitoring and assessment of student performance and creating, implementing and evaluating actions to improve the achievement of all students. Demonstrated skill in establishing a safe and orderly school environment characterized by firmness, fairness and mutual respect. Ability to establish a collaborative, data-drive, decision-making process with staff and parents and a commitment to their participation in school life. Effective oral, written, presentation, interpersonal and technology skills. Effective manager of human, financial and plant resources. Demonstrated success in engaging parents and the community in a meaningful relationship to improve teaching and learning. Effective problem solving skills.
