Title 1 provides equitable services (after hour teaching - either before or after school) in non-public schools. ? One position for St.?Peter School. ? The teacher will work on average of 4 hours per week. ? Rate: $33.12 per hour. ? EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES ? Provides additional reading or mathematics support to students in small groups (either before or after school) Maintains student records and title-1 materials Creates instructional plans for identified students Collaborates with classroom teacher and principal to develop instructional plans Communicates with parents about students progress Uses technology (laptop, word, excel, student programs)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess?Connecticut?Elementary certification (013).? Must produce evidence of meeting No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements, as applicable.? Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to deliver content.? Ability to relate successfully with staff, families and students from diverse backgrounds, experiences and skill levels.? Demonstrated ability to implement differentiated instruction and build upon the strengths and challenges of a multi-cultural and multi-racial classroom/district.
