POSITION:???? Executive Director of Technology, Accountability and Special Funds

REPORTS TO:???? Chief Academic Officer

SUPERVISES:? NCLB/SES Managers and Support personnel

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
??? To develop, implement and evaluate district infrastructure and programs for effective integration of technology in support of effective teaching and learning.
??? To write and manage special fund grants in alignment with the district strategic operating plan and district performance targets.
??? To effectively manage all No Child Left Behind requirements including Supplemental Education services.
?
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:? Advanced degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration and Supervision.? Demonstrated successful experience working with staff, students, parents and community members.? Demonstrated ability to work as a team in an educational setting that sets and achieves high learning standards for staff and students.? Demonstrated knowledge of educational technology that facilitates student learning.? Demonstrated successful experience with grant writing and management.? Experience with implementing and evaluating programs.? Excellent communication skills.CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Connecticut Certification in Intermediate Administration/Supervision required (092).
