Description:

The Meriden Public School District seeks applicants for a full-time Bilingual History & Social Studies/Bilingual English grades 9-12 teaching position at Maloney High School. This position is available for the 2008-2009 school year, with an effective date of August 25, 2008.

A valid Connecticut certification, with endorsements for 1) Bilingual, PK-12 (endorsement #009), or 2) History & Social Studies (endorsement #026), English (endorsement #015), and Bilingual Education, is required. Applicants should have proficiency in English and Spanish. Preference will be given to applicants with previous Bilingual teaching experience at the grades 9-12 level.
