Receives general supervision from the building principal and technical supervision from the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.? Knowledge of teaching methods, materials and education practices applicable to secondary school teaching.? Demonstrated commitment to learner-centered focus and team teaching strategies.? Ability to learn, teach and appropriately apply curriculum requirements of middle school foreign language.? Human relations skills to work effectively with students, parents, school administrators and school staff.? Demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity and multicultural curriculum.? Ability to prepare effective plans and maintain proper records.? Thorough knowledge of specific content area; excellent discipline.?
