Education First (EF) is a global language travel company that specializes in international cultural exchange, foreign language instruction, and educational travel. EF is the world’s largest independent educational institution and the official language training services supplier of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games!

Educational Homestay Programs (EHP), EF’s non-profit Language Travel division in the United States, is dedicated to the promotion of international understanding through cultural exchange and language learning. EHP students, ages 12 to 18, come from many countries to stay with paid host families in American communities, engage in language lessons, and participate in cultural activities.
<br>

In the Fairfield County area this summer, EHP is looking for short term, paid host families for international students who will be attending morning English and cultural lessons. Our group arrives approximately June 30th and stays through July 26th and consists of approximately 102 students and three chaperones.
<br>
<br>
The Fairfield County Recruiter will be responsible for:
<br>
<br>
• Interacting directly with community members and organization representatives to generate potential Host Family prospects.
<br>
• Researching, coordinating, confirming and attending recruitment events
<br>
• Collaborating with the East Coast Operations Manager and Central Support Team to drive results and ensure successful Host Family Recruitment and EHP student placements
<br>
• Communicating event logistics to the Fairfield County Host Family Recruitment Team
<br>
• Pursuing creative and innovative recruitment techniques to produce tangible results
<br>
<br>
The Fairfield County Program Leader will be responsible for:
<br>
<br>
• Overseeing ALL facets of the program at the local level with support and guidance from the Operations Manager.
<br>
• Working as part of a team, maintaining professional standards and being prepared and available in case of emergencies.
<br>
• Finalizing the activity calendar with the Operations Manager at least four weeks before the students’ arrival. Planning, organizing, and finalizing logistics of all course activities.
<br>
• Collaborating with the Recruiter (if applicable) and the Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the Host Family Orientation within two weeks of group arrival.
<br>
• Meeting regularly with the ESL Teacher and the Site Director (if applicable) to coordinate the program/course center prior to the students arrival as well as throughout the course.
<br>
• Meeting and greeting students at the airport on arrival and/or departure (Depending on flight times, this may require staying overnight at an airport hotel.)
<br>
• Coordinating and facilitating student orientation, welcome and farewell parties.
<br>
• Leading and facilitating all program activities including supervising the students’ optional day trips as well as a weekend trip (up to four days).
<br>
• Submitting all paperwork to the Operations Manager within two weeks of the group’s departure.
<br>
• In addition, there will be one off-site orientation seminar in order to become familiar with EHP’s program requirements as well as all company policies and state regulations governing the program.
<br>
