The stats are startling. Over 33% of new teen drivers are involved in a crash their first year and teen drivers are 20x more likely to be in a crash than adult drivers. But not much has changed in driver education in about 40 years - outdated materials, old teaching methods, and lousy customer service are common. But Top Driver is changing things in a big way by taking a more enlightened approach. We think this should be more about creating safe drivers vs. doing the minimum for kids to just get a license.

Our mission is to save lives by providing world-class driver training and customer service. It is a big but attainable goal and it starts with great training. Our proprietary curriculum is designed to truly engage the student whether we are conducting classroom or in-vehicle instruction. For example, we feature the only in-vehicle DVD training which increases student understanding and retention by providing a multi-media experience.

Our driving instructors are the lead ambassadors for bringing this vision to life everyday. As a Top Driver instructor, you will teach multiple students in a classroom setting and/or individual students for in-vehicle training. We provide the curriculum and educational tools but we look to you to make the sessions enjoyable and educational. By doing so, we’ll transform students’ and parents’ perceptions of driver education from an unexciting, required task to an experience they look forward to and where we truly add value.

We’re seeking full or part time instructors for various locations in the Fairfield County area and request you are/have:
<br>

<br>
- Passionate, enthusiastic, energetic and can project that energy in class and in the car
<br>
- Formal teaching, training or coaching experience or experience with teens with teens
<br>
- Can work the time of day when we instruct: weekdays when our students are out of school (i.e. late-afternoon/evening), at least one weekend day, and additional hours in the summer
<br>
- Want to be part of a dynamic, growing company that is trying to take an industry to an entirely higher level
<br>
- Will be comfortable in a small-company setting where there are some initial hurdles but there is an ability/conviction to change/improve things quickly
<br>
- Can transform students’ and parents’ perception of driver education from a boring, required task to a "wow" experience by providing superior training and customer service
<br>
- Candidates must have a safe driving record and will be subject to a background check, and a drug test
<br>
